The aviation giant Boeing is doing good business with 787 Dream liner jets. The Seattle factory of the company reflects its booming business with large number of planes lined to be assembled in the facility. Though previous two years were not that good for the global aviation sector due to various tragedies, Boeing registered good growth.

Fuel efficiency, high safely and reliable modes of transports are the pillar on which Boeing was made aviation giant. 250 new models have been delivered across the world as of now.
The company reports that around 800 787s have been sold to various clients. The each aircraft in the Everett facility cost around $26 million operating money to the corporation. The manufacturing costs of the Dreamliner jet is all time high but it is not reflecting in its quality. Design team faced several production challenges and reliability issues.
Boeing expects that the profitability of 787 will increase by the end of this fiscal. Chief Operating Officer Dennis Muilenburg from Boeing is facing criticism over the profitability aspect. Dreamliners are expensive due to additional worker deployment to the each aircraft. There are around 5,700 pending orders and these deals are worth $435 billion. The production rates of corporation were challenged at the recent Paris Air Show. The Boeing official responded that company is still working on lower unit cost.
