Looks Satya Nadella has some big plans for the Microsoft ahead this year. Chief Executive Officer of the Microsoft Corporation may announce a new acquisition. He has gone after purchasing greatest software programs for the company and now plans to acquire Salesforce.com. Though the development has not been confirmed from the official sources of both sides, the Saleforce has directed some monetary advisers to create a deal in case approached by the potential purchaser.
The experts are saying that the deal will give more profit to the Microsoft than its rival Oracle. Alex Zukin from Stephens, a expense lender firm also supported this view. Nadella used to head cloud computing division of the Microsoft before he became the CEO. He transformed the same division into most profit making arm of the company. Today, his focus still remains on the cloud computing as a CEO. The CEO informed during a firm convention at Microsoft that the company has potential to earn $20 billion through cloud computing by 2018.
At the core of this expectations lies Azure, the cloud based web hosting platform that will give tough competition to rival Amazon World wide web providers. Nadella wants to operate the entire cloud suit through a windows environment. Acquiring the Salesforce would enable him to that. Both companies already improved their mutual relations in December last year when they revealed less complicated version of Salesforce on windows mobile platform. The Salesforce shares performed well after this news went online. The share value increased by 12 percent ( $75.65).
